We found ordering color contacts online a little intimidating at first so here’s a step by step guide to ordering from CoastalContacts.com that includes screenshots, so you know what to expect BEFORE you click “Order Now”.

TIP: Coastal Contacts has an exclusive Buy Now Pay Later system. If you don’t pay by credit card right away (see step 4), Coastal Contacts automatically bills you via an INVOICE. This means that when you receive your order, you’ll find a paper invoice enclosed. You can then pay by mail with check or money order, pay online with a credit card or PayPal account, or you can call Coastal Contacts toll free and pay by credit card over the phone.

Step 1

Go to CoastalContacts.com and find the colored contacts you want to buy. Use the Select Contact Lenses drop down menu to select from a list of all lenses they carry, or enter the exact name brand into the search box to the left and click Go.

Step 2

When you find the page for your lenses, enter your prescription information using the drop down boxes provided. Click Add More if you want to continue shopping and add other colored contacts to your order. Click Buy Now to continue with the purchase.

Step 3

In the next purchase screen, you are asked to provide your eye doctor’s contact information. You can also choose to fax or email a copy of your prescription to Coastal Contacts. Either way, Coastal Contacts uses this information to VERIFY your prescription. This is required by law in the United States. Click Buy Now to continue.

TIP: In Canada and other countries, this step is not required. Instead of this screen you are presented with an order confirmation screen.

Step 4

In the final purchase screen, you will see an order confirmation page with an order number. This will let you know your order has been received and is on its way. You will be sent an email copy of this confirmation.

IMPORTANT: The order confirmation page also gives you the option to pay for your contacts now with a credit card. This is optional. If you don’t pay now, you will be invoiced when your contact lens order arrives.

Step 5

At this point Coastal Contacts will verify your prescription, then send you and email letting you know when your order has shipped and when to expect delivery.

Step 6

When your order arrives, your payment options will be described on your invoice. You can pay online, by phone, or by mail using a credit card or check.
