Use FSA Insurance Dollars for Contact Lenses

FSA (Flexible Spending Account) insurance dollars can by used for prescription contacts, including colors.

By December 31st:

Use your leftover dollars to purchase three, six or twelve month supply of contacts.

After January 1st:

Use your replenished dollars to top up your supply.

What's a Year's Supply of Daily or 2-Week Disposable Contacts?

Here's what you need for a year's supply of popular contact lenses:

  • Daily lenses (30 pack) = 24 boxes
  • Daily lenses (90 pack) = 8 boxes
  • 2 week disposables = 8 boxes
  • Monthly disposables = 4 boxes

Note that in order for colored lenses to be eligible for FSA dollars, they must be vision correcting (not Plano 0.00).

Find yourprescription colors for dark eyes here and prescription colors for light eyes here.

Please note: contact lenses, even if worn for cosmetic reasons, are medical devices that should be worn under the prescription, direction, and supervision of an eye care professional.
