How to Get a Prescription for Green Colored ContactsIn the United States, a prescription is required for colored contacts under the Federal Fairness to Contact Lens Consumers Act. Even for colored lenses without any vision correction (cosmetic only), a prescription is mandatory in the U.S. If you are from Canada or elsewhere, you may not be subject to the same consumer laws. However, we strongly suggest that you be fitted for color contacts by an eye care practitioner. In cases where the manufacturer or supplier is not from the U.S. you may not be required to provide prescription information.
